The Mobile Prospects: Research Project Mobile Commerce

Rajnish Tiwari studied Business Administration at University of Hamburg in Germany, majoring in International Management and Business Informatics. He is currently working as a Research Associate at Institute of Technology & Innovation Management at Hamburg University of Technology while pursuing a doctroal degree.

His research interests include:

Mobile Commerce, especially in the field of financial services ("Mobile Banking")
Internationalization/offshoring of innovation processes, especially of research & development work as well as international marketing of innovative products and/or services [see project page]
Internationalization strategies, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

Tiwari was awarded the "Market and Customer Orientation 2006" prize by the Vodafone Foundation for Research for his study of Mobile Banking, conducted within the framework of research project "Prospects of Mobile Commerce". The study, in an updated form, has been published by Hamburg University Press (ISBN: 3-937816-31-3, co-author: Dr. Stephan Buse) under the title "The Mobile Commerce Prospects: A Strategic Analysis of Opportunities in the Banking Sector".
